Drama Therapy is a therapeutic method which uses acting, improvisation and psycho dramatic techniques as tools for personal growth and change. It is playful yet insightful and promotes spontaneity, creativity and expressiveness. This group is limited to eight participants (men and women) who are interested in changing self-defeating patterns and practicing new roles and desired behaviors in a supportive environment. Clients define their own therapeutic goals while using creative processes to achieve them. Acting and improvisation skills are nurtured and clients expand their internal role repertoire in a “rehearsal for life” context.

No acting/theatre experience necessary. Shy people are welcome. Psychotherapy with individuals and couples is also available upon request.

Roni Alperin is an MFT Trainee and a drama therapist  who has been working with Playback Theater, a form of therapeutic theater, and community theater in a wide variety of settings transforming personal stories into theater pieces both in Israel and  The United States.
