It's that time of year again: days are getting shorter, life seems busier, and we’re overextended, under-energized, and overbooked. In this introductory workshop, we’ll explore your current challenges and feelings, and within the safety of therapeutic exercises and enactments, focus on what’s important to you, what you want to let go of, and how to reconnect with those parts of yourself and your life that bring you enjoyment and meaning in this challenging season.
Drama therapy is the skilled and deliberate use of drama and theater processes to achieve therapeutic goals. Drama therapy is active and experiential; it provides participants with a safe, yet stimulating context in which to explore personal and family stories, set goals, uncover and express feelings, resolve problematic patterns, and achieve release of long held emotions. Because drama therapy is both active and reflective, it helps people to integrate emotional, cognitive, and physical levels
