The Living Arts Counseling Center Presents...

Making Friends:

A Social Skills Group For Kids

A ten-week group for kids in grades 3 to 5

·      Does your child have a hard time making friends?

·      Does he or she experience bullying at school?

·      Does he or she sometimes feel left out?

Many children have difficulty navigating the complex social world of their peers.  In this group, kids will use drama, expressive arts and creative play to practice social skills and learn to regulate their own anxiety.  Through art, children can explore and express their feelings.  Drama therapy gives children the opportunity to actively rehearse new ways of interacting with others. No art or theatrical experience necessary.

When: Wednesdays 4-5:30 pm, Starting September 14th, 2011

Where:  (www.livingartscenter.org)
