Self-Improvement
An Ongoing Drama Therapy* Group
 
 
*No theater experience necessary.  Shy people are encouraged to join*

- Would you like to improve your relationships with your family, co-workers, or partner?
- Are you lacking the motivation and confidence needed to achieve your dreams?

In this ongoing group, we will use improvisational theater to explore topics such as:

- Addiction
- Depression
- Spirituality
- Money
- Intimacy
- Life transitions
- Self-esteem
- Motivation
- Shyness

Drama therapy techniques will include Developmental Transformations, role-play, psychodrama, and ritual.  Our group work will incorporate elements of attachment object-relations, self-psychology, and psychodynamic theory, Jungian analysis, and cognitive/dialectical behavioral therapy.

Mondays, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Starting January 23rd,  2012 
Members may join at any time and must commit to at least 8 sessions 
1-month summer and holiday breaks

$180 for 4 weeks ($45/session)
$320 for 8 weeks ($40/session)
$700 for 20 weeks ($35/session)
SPECIAL: $280 for 8 weeks ($35/session) if paid by 1/16!
 

About the Facilitator: Jessica Engle, MA is a graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies, where she received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Drama Therapy. She is a registered Marriage Family Therapy Intern at the Living Arts Counseling Center in Oakland, CA and is supervised by Warren Randy McCommons, MFT #45485, RDT/BCT. www.JessicaEngle.com
