 James works with adults, teens, elders, couples, and families. He specializes in helping people to reconnect with passion, meaning and satisfaction in their lives, in serving individuals and families as they recreate stability, harmony and purpose after divorce, and in assisting parents in navigating the turbulence of raising children from infancy through launch into the adult world.

James holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy, from California Institute of Integral Studies. He has trained in Non-Violent Communication, human sexuality and mindfulness movement practices. James has lived and traveled extensively internationally and is attuned to working with people from diverse backgrounds, sexual orientations, and internal perspectives.
 
James began his career as a therapist and counselor after 20 years of engineering, management, and marketing executive positions in the corporate world. This rich experience has forged a deep understanding of the challenges faced by many of us in balancing work and family life, while also finding a way to follow our dreams.

James is a father of twin infants and a teenager, and stepfather to a young adult.
