- Do you sometimes wish that you had a safe place to express your feelings associated with the responsibilities and experiences of caring for a loved one with a mental health issue?
- Or do you just want to learn skills in order to better communicate with your loved one?
In this 6-week expressive arts group, you will get to meet other people like yourself while learning to cope and gain the skills necessary to support your loved ones with serious mental illness. Moreover, you will be encouraged to creatively expressing yourself through collage making, painting, simple role playing exercises, or movement. Self-care, establishing boundaries,
feelings of safety, expression of emotions, coping skills, healthy communication will be among the topics explored.
