Do you feel troubled or distressed?
-
Do you feel like you don't have choice around patterns or behaviors in your life?
-
Do you struggle with self-doubt or feeling bad about yourself?
-
Are you feeling dis-empowered or stuck and hopeless about some aspect of your life?
-
Do you struggle with worry or anxiety?
I offer private therapy sessions which help people shift stuck patterns in their lives and create lasting change. This work helps individuals feel more empowered, relieves anxiety and worry, increases confidence and self esteem, and allows for more fulfilling relationships in order to live life with a sense of peace and joy.
What You Can Get Out of Therapy:
One of the most consistent and immediate experiences that my clients report is a feeling of huge relief, that their life is manageable again. My clients know that someone is looking out for them - and that they are not alone anymore. They also have less anxiety and are more equipped to stay calm and grounded through difficulty. They are able to identify the blocks that have limited them in the past and build new skills to help them get more of what they want out of life. My clients learn how to prioritize their self care and are able to live a more balanced life. They also have greater self-confidence and are able to be much more accepting of themselves. They feel more empowered and are even able to laugh at obstacles and difficulties as they come up!
How I Work:
My work is holistic and draws upon different therapeutic approaches including drama therapy, movement, somatic therapy and expressive arts, in addition to traditional talk therapy. Together, through creativity and play, we will create a process that works best for your needs and provides a safe space where you feel comfortable to explore and grow. I am committed to offering you the effective support you need in order to make the changes you want in your life. I offer sessions at an affordable rate that will work within your budget.
About Me:
I have been organizing and facilitating life changing workshops for over 9 years. As a facilitator and teacher, I have worked with thousands of people to shift old patterns, access greater wholeness, and create new ways of relating in the world. As a former Challenge Day leader, I traveled across the country helping thousands of teenagers and adults tear down walls of separation, break down oppression, learn conflict resolution, and inspire teens to live in an environment of compassion, acceptance and respect. In addition to doing psychotherapy, I also work as a Holistic Life Coach, helping people strategize and move towards their life goals.
I have been a student of drama since I was a youngster and take great joy in being a visual artist as an adult. I studied using the arts therapeutically at the Esalen Institute as well as Meridian University. I am a graduate of the Interchange Counseling program, which is a year long training for coaches and counselors. I am finishing my Masters in Counseling Psychology with Meridian University and currently working as a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee. I create a safe space for growth and reflection, humor and insight in my work with individuals, couples and children.
