  • Is your child often anxious?
  • Does s/he have difficulties controlling his/her anger?
  • Have you or your child lost a loved one and need support through your grief?

I work with children who have emotional and behavioral problems and adults who are struggling with with life-threatening illness, bereavement, immigration and cultural challenges, and stress. I offer services in both English and Hungarian.

Therapy creates a path for new perspectives and experiences to emerge. My role as a therapist is to help you discover and tap into your inner resources. I offer a wide variety of techniques, such as relaxation, guided imaginary, visual art, music, movement and talk therapy. My experience working with children and their families on issues such as anxiety, impulsive behavior and divorce taught me how to be flexible and attentive to my clients' needs.

Tunde Horvath is an Expressive Arts Therapist who obtained her first M.A. in Psychology in Hungary. She worked with children and families during the following years as a developmental psychologist at an elementary and middle school. Tunde came to the U.S. in 2007 and acquired her second MA degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern #69423 at the Living Arts Counseling Center, Tunde is supervised by Armand Volkas, MFT,RDT/BCT, MFC# 28789 .
