PSYCHODRAMA
Psychodrama is an effective action method for psychotherapy and education. Jacob L. Moreno, M.D., psychiatrist and philosopher, originated psychodrama over eighty years ago. Participants in psychodrama cooperatively re-create life action events within which learning occurs naturally. Focus on areas of personal concern increases well-being and problem-solving skills. Psychodrama enhances spontaneity and aids participants in experiencing, understanding, and overcoming blocks to a more fulfilled life.
WESTWOOD INSTITUTE
Westwood Institute (www.dbsatten.com), established in 1974, is a center for professional training and education in psychodrama, creative action methods and group psychotherapy. Groups meet in comfortable settings to enhance personal growth and professional development. Drs. Dorothy and Mort Satten have 30 years of experience as group facilitators, trainers and therapists.
